It never ceases to amaze me how we as a species can greatly complicate our lives in the name of change. So often we (I) will make a choice simply because we want something different than what we have. How many choices do we make now that limit possible choices in the future? What a tricky little thing life is!

Ahhh choice, the great measure of our lives!
What a great question to pose.
I find it interesting that we spend so much energy on choices that have so little bearing on anything important, yet sometimes little energy on the things that are.
In ten years it probably won't make any difference what dress we wore to a certain event, or what car we owned, but a child will always remember who taught them to ride a bike or took them fishing.
