Good thought. It is obviously often easier and faster to get results when doing things for children instead of teaching them and helping them to grow, which can be a slow and, at times, a painful process. But when we think about following the example of our Heavenly Parents, it is incumbent upon us to allow our children to grow and develop, as painful as it may be. In the end that is what life is all about - what we make of ouselves.
"On the other hand", as Tevia would say; there are times when we all need a little help from someone - parent or otherwise.
Trick is to be wise enough to know when to do and when not to do.
